'explore' children's playground

In 2003 we undertook the master planning of a unique experience for children set in the middle of London at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust's - London Wetlands Centre (LWC) situated in Barnes. Working alongside Science Projects, the LWC staff and after consultation with the local community planning permission was given and fund raising started. In the summer of 2005 we undertook the detailed design and started the collaborative building of a range of play items which on our side included a childrens life size representation of a water vole burrow, a stickleback nest servery, a woven willow dome chamber and stickleback nest, and finally a Caddis fly larvae seat. The playground was opened to the public in July 2006.
