Llanneli Mud Festival

Set of creative public participation workshops devised for all age groups for the first National Mudfest. Participants mixed and used different types of mud render which was applied to a variety of frameworks and then decorated with natural elements.

The Mudfest was conceived to highlight the ecological importance of the estuarine mudflats to the local food web. Other activities included Mud Safaris - walking groups out onto the extensive mudflats at low tide, illustrated talks and a variety of fun based mud slinging events.
